Photo shoot

So, Madelyn and I were just hanging out while Jonathan went on an ice cream run. (Have I ever mentioned how AWESOME he is???)
Anyway, we decided to have an impromptu photo shoot. Here are some of my favorites...

Have I mentioned that she pretty much LOVES to stick her tongue out in all her pictures now??

A bit blurry, but we were both giggling...

Now that's more like it...

Fashionista

We were in San Antonio for Valentine's Day weekend and had lots of fun. Madelyn didn't get to see the Alamo (too windy and chilly) but she did find her way to the San Marcos Outlet Mall.
Here are her new sunglasses that she picked out. Jonathan says she looks like Elton John. Michael Kors eat your heart out!!

And because I keep forgetting to post a picture of her bath seat, here's one. It took me forever to find a bath seat like this. Apparently the old yellow kind that would just suction cup to the bottom of the tub aren't safe. This is one crazy contraption, but she loves it because it means she can play with her bath toys in the big tub!

Super Bowl

So, we took it pretty easy this past weekend. Spring is always busy for me at work and this year is no exception. So, we made some chili & cheese dip, chili, and ate lots of chips. Not so healthy, but definitely tasty and perfect Super Bowl food! Madelyn's a TV and sports junky, so she even watched some of it with us. Here are some pics for you to enjoy.

Stats

Yesterday's visit to the doctor was fairly uneventful, apart from the 4 shots and one oral vaccine. She did great and I got a lot of questions answered. She's had a cough/runny nose for about 2 months straight and the doctor reassured me that this was normal for this time of year. The doc checked to make sure there wasn't any sign of infection in her nose, lungs and airways and she looked great apart from the runny nose. She is drooling a LOT more and we think teeth are on the horizon, especially with the way she has been sleeping the past few nights.

She weighed in at 18 lbs. and was 27" long. She's still in the 90th percentile for both categories and the doctor was impressed with how well she is sitting by herself. We also got the green light to start some new foods, including Cheerios! Yay!

Here are some pics of her "battle wounds." I LOVE the fact that they put pink camo bandaids on her every time. So cute...
